Susan Ting makes this look so easy!
However, i have yet to be successful with the technique!
On Tim See's rims & lips, he shows a similar strategy for making a double-walled lip and this is easier.

Paragon Kiln Company: I would not recommend this company. Bought a brand new electric digital-programmer kiln from them and 4 months later it stopped functioning correctly. They do not stand behind their products and their "warranty" is a joke.
